Our commitment to child safety

Freely prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards apply to everyone who uses Freely and to all profiles, photos, messages, and other content or conduct on our service. Freely is for adults aged 18 and over. Anyone under 18 is not permitted to create an account or use the app.

Prohibited content and behavior

You must not use Freely to create, upload, request, obtain, share, distribute, promote, or link to CSAM, or to facilitate any sexual abuse or exploitation of a person under 18. This prohibition includes grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, sexualization of minors, sextortion, and child sex trafficking. Attempts to arrange or facilitate such conduct, including moving it to another service, are also prohibited.

How to report a concern

Report a concerning account using the Report option in Freely, or email our child-safety contact at contact@freelydating.com with the subject “Child Safety.” You do not need a Freely account to report a concern by email. Reports may include suspected underage accounts, CSAE, CSAM, or other risks to a child.

Include the profile name or account identifier, where and when the issue occurred, and a brief description. Do not download, copy, forward, or attach suspected CSAM. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement immediately; Freely is not an emergency service.

Review and enforcement

Freely reviews child-safety reports and takes appropriate action when it becomes aware of prohibited content or conduct. This includes removing CSAM and other violating content, restricting or disabling accounts, and banning users responsible for child sexual abuse or exploitation. Accounts identified as belonging to someone under 18 are removed from the service.

Reporting to authorities

Freely will comply with applicable child-safety laws and regulations. Confirmed CSAM will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the appropriate regional authority, as required by applicable law. Relevant information will be preserved and provided to competent authorities where legally required, with access limited to authorized personnel.
